PALMERSTON – The Minto Farmers’ Market invites you to bring the whole family for a special Family Day event at the market.
In addition to the regular lineup of vendors, there will be activities for people of all ages at the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum from 9am to 12pm on July 29.
Visitors are encouraged to grab breakfast at the Palmerston and Maitland Traditional Scouting Food Truck and enjoy refreshments on the picnic tables. Palmerston EarlyON Centre will have water-play activities set-up for kids, and will be answering questions about child development, promoting child—family engagement, and offering local community resources.
Kid’s can also colour, take a ride on the Little Train or Handcar, and all are welcome to try out the outdoor lawn games.
There will also be prizes for competing in the trivia contest.
From 10am to 12pm, local youth, Ebbony Moroz, will be singing at the market.
