Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the Louise Marshall Hospital at the age of 72. Loving husband and soulmate of Susan Rice for 50 years. Special Dad of Jeff (Julie) Rice, and Pam Carson. Loving PA of Courtney, Alli, and Nicole. Dear brother of Jim (Linda), Sheila (Al), Sharon (Mark), Rita (Steve), Doug (Cathy), and Len (Kim) (their children: Mitchell, Matthew, Michael and Lexi); and brother-in-law of Harold. Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his parents Pat and Helen. Kevin was raised and lived his entire life on the family farm in Proton Township. His passions include hunting, helping others, and sharing good conversation. Above all, he loved spending time with his family who will miss him dearly. Visitation was held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Friday, June 30th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm with parish prayers at 6:45pm. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 046045 Southgate Township Road 04, Conn, on Saturday, July 1st at 11:00am. Interment followed at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association or the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated.
