WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Career Education Council and four municipal partners will host two upcoming sessions on local work opportunities.
Explore Your Future in Wellington, and North Wellington Works are being sponsored by the council in partnership with the County of Wellington, Town of Minto and townships of Mapleton and Wellington North.
Explore Your Future in Wellington will allow more than 600 Grade 8 students from across northern Wellington explore local opportunities for future employment, community engagement, educational resources, and volunteerism in a hands-on format.
The event will be held on April 18 from 9am to 2:30pm at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex.
Wellington County job seekers of all ages are invited to explore relevant career, community and volunteer opportunities at North Wellington Works, set for April 26 from 6 to 8pm at the Palmerston arena. To register go to cec_gwd.eventbrite.com.
