Suddenly, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale in her 44th year. Loving wife of Tim. Best friend and mother of Katilyn and Teddy. Daughter of Rick and Barb Morriss of Mount Forest and granddaughter of Grandma Betty Morriss. Daughter in-law of Linda (the late Frank) Ireton. Dear sister of Mark (Jennifer) Morris, their sons Nathan and Carter. Sister in-law of Marty Stafford, Jeanet (Michael) Lawler, Ian Ireton and the late Heather Stafford (2001). Cherished Aunt to Olivia and Chase Ireton, Amberlee Lawler, Jennifer (Cam) McIntyre, Andrew Lawler and Hailey (Kyle) Heard. Loved niece of Barry (Norrinne) Morriss, Wendy Morriss, Susan (the late Peter) Rasmussen. She will be greatly missed by many cousins, extended family, fellow teachers and the abundance of students she taught over the years. Kerri was born in Mount Forest and raised in Proton Township. She attended school in Dundalk and Flesherton. She got her degree in Child Studies from the University of Guelph and her teacher’s degree from York University. She married her high school sweetheart as soon as she was done school in 2004. After securing her job at Dundalk Proton School she and Tim started their family. She was well-loved and well-known throughout the area. A come and go celebration of Kerri’s life will take place at Grey Highlands Secondary School, Flesherton, on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 1:00-3:00pm.
