Champs – Goundhog day wasn’t quite here yet but the Fergus Curling Club held its annual bonspiel celebrating the rodent on the last weekend in January. Convenor Bob Fleischauer commented how happy he was that it was full this year with many newcomers. Convenors Fleischauer, far right, and Andy Blackmore, far left, congratulated the overall winner of the day, a local team consisting of, from left: vice-skip Jason French, lead Clinton Spindley, second Brian Vink and skip Tim Hitchcock.
