Wendy passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus at the age of 67. Left to mourn the loss of his much loved partner and soulmate is Gilles Beaulac. Dearly loved sister to Hazel (Bill), Norma (Juergen – deceased), Cliff (deceased) (Karen), and Judy (Doug – deceased). Wendy’s nieces and nephews will miss their dearly loved aunt. Each niece and nephew had a special spot in her heart and she in their heart. Predeceased by her parents; E. May (Maise) (Nicklin) and Clifford H. Howse. Wendy will also be missed by sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; Alice (deceased), Marie, Madeleine, Diane, Fernand, Celine, Lise and Pauline. Many people were the benefactor of Wendy’s passion and hobby – quilting. She created and gifted many quilts that demonstrated her creativity and talent. The Toronto Maple Leafs lost a very loyal fan, as did the Blue Jays. Wendy’s special little neighbour – Maple – will miss her greatly. Also remembered by John Archibald. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice and/or buy a flowering plant in the spring for your garden and remember Wendy when it blooms. A Celebration of Wendy’s Life will be held in the spring. Details are to be released closer to the time of the event.
