GASCHO, Lisa

Lisa Ann (Babcock) Gascho of Drew passed away at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, with her sons at her side, on Monday, January 2, 2023 at the age of 63 years. Wife of the late Trent Gascho. Mother of Robert ‘Robbie’ Gascho and John Reed Gascho, and grandmother of David Gascho, all of Harriston. Sister of Robert and Lupita Bowers, and Tina and John Shaw, and sister-in-law of Wanda Gascho White and David White, and Sherri Gascho Welch and Tim Welch. Remembered by nieces and nephews Dawn Babcock, Dionne Babcock, Dylan Bowers, Tatiana Bowers, Kaitlyn Bowers, Dylan White, Evan White, Galen White, Darcy Welch, Aaron Welch, Kathleen Welch, and Benjamin Welch. Remembered by John Middleton Reed, and by many dear friends including Lori Lee Leonard, Janice and Mike Shannon, Mike and Sam Lebbink, and Mike and Sylvia Fudger, Bill Hoffele, and Bob Hoffele, Rob Lebbink, Kim Dickson, Jeff Harron, and Nadine Cromwell. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Corrine Babcock, step-father Frankie Bowers, brother David Babcock, friend ‘Red Jack’, and by Trent’s parents Jack and Helen Gascho. Lisa was born in Hollywood, California and grew up in Inglewood, California.  Lisa and Trent met in 1986. Mom loved hitting side roads with Trent and going camping at Algonquin Park. She loved visiting her siblings and family in California. Mom loved horses and always kept her first Great Dane Sarah in her cherished memories, as well as many other pets including Sheeba, Barron 1 & 2, Luba, Jesse, Taffy, Sarah, K.C., Dawson, her horse Emper. Mom was a stay-at-home mother, assisted Trent in his drywalling business, and also worked for the VON. Mom loved to draw and was an excellent mother to John and Robbie who will miss her dearly. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
