Of Fergus passed away peacefully at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Harriston on Saturday, December 17, 2022 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Bernice Ball. Dear father of Clarke and Carmella Bresson of Edmonton, Sherri Bresson and Tom Prior of Guelph and Kent and Karen Bresson of Arthur. Grandfather of Christina and Matt, Cale, Tyler and Jenn, Trevor. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Brother of Betty Mayne and brother-in-law of Grace Ball. Predeceased by his parents Ephriam and Almeda Ball and by his siblings Leslie and Joyce Ball, Georgina and George Webber, Albert and Gwen Ball, Beatrice and Phillip McGiveney, Robert Ball and brother-in-law Don Mayne. To honour Clayton’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Arthur followed by spring interment in Greenfield Cemetery.
