WELLINGTON COUNTY – Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund (OMPF) allocations to northern Wellington County municipalities will increase by $85,500 next year, with grant levels rising in Mapleton and Wellington North while dropping in Minto.
Allocations announced by the province on Nov. 9 show the county’s three northern municipalities will receive $3,786,800 in 2023, up from $3701,300 in 2022.
Under the 2023 OMPF allocation formula:
– Mapleton will get an additional $63,400, bringing its allocation to $938,600;
– Minto will receive $1,492,300, a drop of $33,200 from 2022; and
– Wellington North will receive $1,335,900, up $55,300 from 2022.
The County of Wellington will receive $787,400 through the program.
