A special thank you from our family to Dr. Cox for her attentive and compassionate care, the many health care professionals at Georgian Heights, both past and present who cared for her needs daily and the MAID assessors for their care and assistance. Marlo and John owned a cleaning company together and for several years cleaned at Edwards where they met many friends. Together, they operated the Owen Sound Westside boat launch and later, when constructed, the Eastside boat launch up to their retirement. They employed many friends and family members and enjoyed those they met locally and from long distances. Marlo was well known at the “Eastside” Tim Horton’s where she got together with friends in the evenings. She was a card player, avid reader, talented artist, animal lover, thrift shopper and lottery hopeful. She enjoyed online games to help keep her “sharp.” Marlo enjoyed her cars, “Ruby” most of all! There will be a private family service. Care entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation Services, thank you Ruth for your assistance. If so desired, memorial donations may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Red Cross.
