MOUNT FOREST – A Mount Forest man was charged with assault causing bodily harm after a recent incident here.
Wellington County OPP officials stated officers responded to the incident on Nov. 6 at about 4pm.
Police say “the victim was being assaulted by an unknown person in a parking lot” on Sligo Road West in Mount Forest.
“The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Officers were able to locate and arrest the person involved.”
Raymond Lloyd Cote, 31, of Mount Forest, was charged with assault causing bodily harm and resisting a peace officer.
He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
