ALLCOCK, Margaret E.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret Allcock (nee Jackson) in her 75th year, surrounded by her family at Riverbend Place in Cambridge on October, 21st 2022. Devoted mother to Paul Allcock and Tracey Billing (Chris). The most loving Nana to Kiara Allcock and Mikayla Billing. Lovingly missed by her brother Robert Jackson (Fay) and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband Phil Allcock (1980) her father Luther Jackson (1980), her mother Gertrude Jackson (1998) and her sister Beverly Jackson (2006). Marg was a devoted nurse at Groves Hospital Fergus as well as Bayshore Home Health. She was passionate about her work. Marg had a love for music singing for many years in several barbershop choruses and winning many medals, like North Metro Chorus and the Guelph Overtones. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the nurses and PSW’s as well as Dr. Crosby for the amazing and compassionate care Marg received over the last 6 years of her life. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat. November 26th, 2022, at 1pm at Arkell United Church, 600 Arkell Rd. Arkell, Ontario. A private family Interment at Woodlawn cemetery will be held at a later date. Care entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Waterloo Wellington or Arkell United Church (cheque to: 600 Arkell Road, Arkell, Ontario, N0B 1C0) would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Margaret E. Allcock in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
