CANADA – For Small Business Week, Oct. 16 to 22, the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) is daring Canadians to do things differently.
“The economic recovery has brought new challenges for Canadian entrepreneurs,” the BDC says.
Challenges
“High on the list are inflation, worker shortages and supply chain challenges.”
With this, BDC says Canadians can find better ways of working.
“Business owners are finding ways to succeed despite these challenges,” officials explain.
“They are also making their businesses more inclusive and sustainable, while driving the Canadian economy.”
BDC invites Canadians to see how it’s being done, as we all celebrate the impact of Canada’s dreamers and doers during BDC Small Business Week 2022.
What is it about?
BDC Small Business Week is an annual celebration of entrepreneurship that the BDC has organized for 43 years.
Every year, close to 10,000 entrepreneurs gather to learn, network and celebrate Canada’s dreamers and doers.
Small business is big in Canada.
There are more than 1.2 million small and medium-sized businesses in Canada.
Help promote BDC Small Business Week
“Join us as we recognize and celebrate the outstanding contribution of mediumsized businesses from coast to coast,” BDC officials say.
BDC encourages people to amplify their posts, create an original one using the campaign hashtag #BDCsbw or share one of the suggested posts on the platform of their choice.
