GUELPH/ERAMOSA – Two people have been airlifted with life-threatening injuries to a trauma hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Guelph/Eramosa on Oct. 8.
At around 12:45pm, emergency services responded to a collision between two sport utility vehicles, with several people injured, at Wellington Road 22 and Line 8, along Highway 6 at the edge of Guelph/Eramosa.
One person was airlifted from the scene by Ornge air ambulance, and three other people were transported to local hospitals, with one later being airlifted from a local hospital to a trauma centre.

Highway 6 between Sideroad 6 South and Line 6 in Ennotville remained closed late afternoon as police continued investigating the collision.
It’s expected the roadway will remain closed into the evening, however no estimated reopening time has been provided.
