Thomas Bruce La Combe passed away at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in his 79th year. Brother of Barbara and (Don) Straus of Waterloo, Russell and (Mary) La Combe of Huntsville, and Jeffery and (Sheila) La Combe of BC, and uncle to his nephews, Todd, Christopher and Nicholas, and his nieces Janice, Lori, Heather, Leslie and Sahara. Father of Bradley La Combe of Mount Forest, Calvin La Combe of Alliston, and Scott La Combe of Mount Forest, and grandfather of Austin La Combe, Nicholas La Combe, Jessica La Combe and Julian Boettcher. He was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Ruth La Combe Tom’s family was in the elevator business but he moved on to Mechanics for awhile and then a lengthy career at Kitchener Transit. He built and renovated homes as he was a very handy man. Tom later went back to work maintenance at Spinrite in Listowel and spoke of his friend Rodger often, and his childhood friend Dave Howe.
