Stephen J. Kennedy died July 23rd, 2022 at home after a heroic battle with Vascular Dementia. 55 years ago, receiving a phone call from Steve, I blurted out “Marry me or get out of my life”. His quick response “I’ll be right there.” From a card Steve gave me I quote, “Love isn’t found in the staying, the ups and downs in day to day living. Real love is in the heart of each and every moment we share”. I can’t imagine a more devoted and inspiring husband, father, papa and friend. Thank you, Steve, for loving and understanding us so well. You are forever cherished in our memories. Love you forever, Barbara, Mark, Scott (deceased), Roma, Alex, Sofia, Kim and Claudio. Our thank-yous go out to P.S.W. Gerry and Norman, nurses Divya and Joel and to the expert and attentive caring of the Guelph – Wellington Paramedic team, and to Wall-Custance Funeral Home for their support. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Stephen J. Kennedy in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
