SHELBURNE – The tradition of live music in Shelburne continues as the Shelburne Rotary Club and the HMF Concert Series welcome Dan Davidson on Aug. 5.
To round out the traditional Heritage Music Festival weekend, bands, brews and a barbecue will happen at Fiddle Park on Aug. 6 starting at 3pm.
Davidson is only five years into his country career, but is far from “green” in the music industry.
He spent over 10 years playing in the well-known Canadian indie rock band Tupelo Honey.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, he created and hosted Canada’s first live digital music festival “Diesel Bird Fest.”
Diesel Bird successfully raised $54,000 for charity. He then went on to create and host Canada’s first hotel music festival (Diesel Bird Hotel Fest.) Jessie T, who will open the Dan Davidson show, will be featured at the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase 2022.
Join the Rotary Club Aug. 5. Doors open at 7pm, Jessie T opens the show at 8pm, followed by Dan Davidson and an after party with DJ Rod West of Country 105.
Tickets are $40 (plus handling fee if bought online.) For tickets visit Pazazz Clothing Store, 122 Owen Sound St., Shelburne or call 519-278-0016 or go to www.HeritageMusicFestival.ca.
