67, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully on June 11th at home. Steven is survived by his father, Ken Willard of Elora, brother Bill Willard, sister Rosemary Hemphill (nee Willard), brothers Bob Willard and Dan Willard, sister Joanne Willard, brother Pat Willard and sister Estelle Willard (Marie) as well as nephews Jeremy, Christopher, Richard and Eric Willard and nieces Sabrina McIntyre (nee Willard), Victoria Willard and Adina Miller. He is preceded in death by his mother Estelle Willard and sister-in-law Claire Willard (nee Ducksbury). He will be missed by all his family, including his brothers and sister in-laws Jim, Beth, Mary-Anne, Barb, Paul, Nancy and Michael and great nephews Ty Jacob and Mylo and great nieces Jasmine, Rebecca and Emme. Steven was born in Fergus, Ontario to Ken and Estelle Willard on June 22, 1954. He went to high school at Fergus. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Western University. He worked as an Assistant Director for Ernst and Young for 26 years, his colleagues and friends from work were his second family. Steven was a man of solitude and contemplation and as such he has requested that his ashes be placed in a forest among the trees. No Funeral service will be held. A Celebration of Life for Steven will be held at the family home on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 5 Cuthbert Street, Elora from 1:00pm to 4:00pm for those who wish to attend. Bring your own lawn chair. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, Ontario.
