90 – It is with great sadness that the family announces that Madeleine passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Hospice Wellington in Guelph. Madeleine was born in Granby, QC on April 8th, 1932, to the late Ismael Ménard and the late Odina Martel. Madeleine was predeceased by her husband Réal (July 13th 2012), her grandson Eric (July 13th 2018) as well as many brothers and sisters and many brother-in-law and sister in law. Madeleine is survived by her loving children Michel (Margaret) Goderich, ON; Pierre (Nancy) Loch Lomond NS; Diane Brydges (Pat) Drayton, ON; Marc (Angèle) Kitchener, ON; Manon Douglas (Norm) Fergus, ON; Linda Dufault (Grégoire) Thunder Bay, ON; Alain (Glenn) Rodney, ON; Yves (Sue) Thorold, ON. Madeleine, affectionately known as Mémère will be greatly missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Madeleine is also survived by her last remaining sibling, her sister Jeannine Ménard, of Granby QC as well as her sister-in-law Françoise of Granby QC and brother in-law Roméo, Sarto (Bébiane) of Granby QC; Rosaire of Guelph ON; Jacques (Jocelyne) and Yvon (Danielle) also of Granby QC. As well as numerous nephews and nieces in Guelph ON and Granby and surrounding areas. Cremation has taken place.
