Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus on Friday, May 6, 2022 in his 84th year, formerly of West Montrose. Loving husband of Shirley (Groshaw) Goodwin for 65 years, June 1, 2022. Dear father of Dale (Karen) Goodwin, Darlene Goodwin, Dana Mailhot (Mike), and Dawn (Mark) Hughes. Grandfather of Heather Methven, Jason Goodwin, Lindsay Roberts McKelvie, Darby Mailhot, Travis Hughes, Danielle Hughes and Braiden Hughes. Great-grandfather to Maisie Methven, Hannah Methven, Wren Methven, Cooper Goodwin and Austin Goodwin. Survived by three siblings, Velma Brown, Marjorie Luce and Shirley (Les) McGowan, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Marvin and Edna (Fletcher) Goodwin, and siblings Muriel, Evelyn, Dorothy, Ralph, Harold, Grant and Robert (in infancy). To honour Leonard’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will not be a visitation. A virtual memorial will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 3:00pm.
