SINCLAIR, John Frederick

(1972-2022) Passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 10th. He would have been 50 years old on September 10th of this year. He has left behind his loving wife Darlene (Smith) Sinclair. Loved by his three wonderful children; Stanley, Sadie and Grace Sinclair. John was the eldest son of Alan and Nancy Sinclair. He was a loving and devoted brother to Paul (Karley) and Katie (Rob). John was a loved son-in-law to Bruce Smith and friend Cheryl Cushing. A dear brother-in-law to Shelda (Greg) Morphy, Don (Deb) Smith and Shaun (Ronda) Smith. Predeceased by mother-in-law Marion Smith (2005). A fun loving uncle to; Susannah, Patrick, Isaac, Shayna, Cassie, Mady, Jacob and Garrett. John devoted his life to working at the beef barns for the University of Guelph for 24 years. He was always surrounded by animals from a silly old barn cat to a beautiful heifer. He was kind, caring and compassionate to those he met along the journey. John was passionate about providing Elora with every size of pumpkin and variety of Christmas tree. One thing we know for sure is how proud he was to say he lived in Elora. Although being busy with work and his hobby farm, John was never too busy to spend time with his family. He was a family man who has left many with stories to tell for years to come. His journey may have ended early but he has touched the lives of many people, that his stories will be shared and his love for life won’t be forgotten. Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus and on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 12pm – 1pm at Knox Presbyterian Church in Elora, with a funeral service that began at 1:30pm at the church. Masks are mandatory.
