CLIFFORD – The Clifford and District Horticultural Society is inviting local residents to plant a tree in Old Rotary Park and then stay to watch the 2022 Clifford Rotary Duck Race.
The club notes tickets for the race are sold out but the public is welcome to attend and cheer the ducks to the finish line.
The event, dubbed Trees and Quackers, is set for April 30, with the Arbor Day tree planting set for 11am and the duck race starting at 11:45. A food booth will be offering pizza and drinks.
Proceeds will go toward park maintenance in Clifford.
