ELORA – Wondering what to do with your mom on Mother’s Day? Here’s an idea: take her out for brunch and help Elora House at the same time.
The not-for-profit organization provides safe housing and support for women victims of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
The organization is holding a Mother’s Day brunch on May 8 at The GrandWay, located at 7445 Wellington Road 21 in Elora.
There are two seatings: 10 to 11:30am and 12:30 to 2pm.
Along with a delicious meal there will be a cash bar and live music by Lauren Roy. Tickets are $35 for adults ($39.55 with tax) and $20 for children 12 and under ($22.60 with tax). Children four and under are free. Five dollars from each ticket sale will go to Elora House.
“Enjoy all the traditional items and a few special extras sure to excite your taste buds,” organizers say.
