Of Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Earle Mahood (1992). Loving mother of Laverne and Lynda Mahood of New Lowell and Gary and Ann Mahood of Palmerston. Grandmother of Michael Mahood and Kevin and Christina Mahood; April Mahood, Michelle and Scott Holliday and Courtney and Jason Howlett. Great grandmother of Emylie, Chloe, Kinley, Lyra, Brody, Grace, Corbin, Kate, Hailey and Ryelyn. Great Great grandmother of Briar and Renya. Sister of Ron Denny and sister-in-law of Barb Denny. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Nora Denny, sisters Jean and her husband Bill McClennan and Betty Denny, brothers Eldon Denny, Wylmer Denny and his wife Doreen, William Denny and Leonard Denny. To honour Bernice’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 1:00pm to time of service at 2:00pm. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
