Good Friday fish and chips are back

FERGUS – After a two year break, the Knights of Columbus will once again be serving their popular fish and chip dinners from 4 to 6pm on Good Friday (April 15th) at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall in Fergus.

Patrons have a choice of oven-baked, or traditional deep fried breaded haddock fish portions.

Fish and chip dinners, including fries, coleslaw, juice and coffee or tea, will be $12 for one piece of fish and $17 for two pieces of fish.

A side serving of one piece of fish will be $7 and an order of fries only will be $5. Pop or bottled water will be $1 each.

Take out will also be available.

So mark your calendars and plan on attending, organizers say.

The club has decided that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Ukraine Relief and the balance to the Knights’ charities in the parish and community.
