MARDEN – A Guelph man faces several charges after someone tried to steal parts from a vehicle at a business.
On March 22 at about 6am, Wellington County OPP received a report of a possible theft in progress at a business on Highway 6 in Marden.
“Initial reports indicated that unknown persons were attempting to remove car parts from a vehicle,” police stated. “Officers attended the scene and located two individuals.”
Aaron Guthrie, 47, of Guelph, has been charged with trespassing at night, theft under $5,000, possession of a break-in instrument, possession of methamphetamine, possession of an opioid, two counts of mischief under $5,000 and two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking. He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
