It is with great sadness we announce the passing of (Anne) Anna Marie Raftis of Mount Forest at the age of 69. Predeceased by her beloved spouse (Bill) William Gammon (2017). Daughter of the late Alma G. (Heffernan) and Joseph T. Raftis. Dearly missed by her siblings, Sister Paula Maria of St. Catharines, Mary of Guelph, Pat and Eliana of Barrie, Ernie and Livia of London, Eddie and Michelle of Barrie, Mark of Fort McMurray and Paul of Mississauga. Sister-in-law of Theresa of Alberta. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Michael and Frank. The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please visit the book a visitation time or call the funeral home at 519-848-6872 to book a time to attend visitation. Proof of vaccination will be required to attend the visitation, and Covid protocols will be followed including wearing of masks at all times. A Private by invitation, Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Mount Forest on Friday, January 21, 2022. The service will be video taped and will be available below on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Spring interment in St. John’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Arthur.
