was a nurse and an amazing grandmother and mother. She was the nicest and most forgiving person we have ever met. She was never selfish and always put everyone else first, before herself. Peggy was the wife of Harold, mother of Amanda, Virginia, Nathaniel and grandmother of Alexander, Ayden, Miranda and Alice. Like people say, the greatest and best mothers become grandmothers. She was born in Orangeville on February 14, 1956 and sadly and suddenly passed away on December 24, 2021, at home. She definitely made her parents proud, as she had her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She got married at age 20 to her soulmate, in 1976. She was the most beautiful, nicest, warmest woman anyone could know. She never saw the bad in people and she always saw the good. She had so many achievements in her life, and Harold, she and the kids built the house of their dreams in 1996. Peggy lived her dream; she loved helping people. She was most definitely sent from Heaven and she is now with her parents and aunts and uncle, and many many friends in Heaven. She is also now out of all the pain she was in and she is in a better place. May she rest easy; she is loved and missed lots. She would want us all to be strong at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peggy’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 5, 2022 from 2:00 – 5:00pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus.
