HARRISTON – The Minto Arts Council’s annual Christmas show and silent auction opened Nov. 16 and continues until to Dec. 4
“We’re all going through difficult times with COVID so a little early Christmas cheer at the beautifully decorated Minto Arts Gallery will warm your heart and provide you with the opportunity to support your local arts council while Christmas shopping,” arts council officials state in a press release.
“Many businesses and individuals in Minto generously provide gifts and financial donations so we give all of you a heartfelt thank you. The Minto Arts Gallery couldn’t stay open without your support,” officials state.
The auction, the MAC’s only annual fundraiser closes Dec. 4 at 1 pm.
The Minto Arts Council also welcomes area residents to support the organization by volunteering throughout the year.
“Meet a wonderful group of like-minded people who help keep the arts thriving in Minto,” officials urge.

Auction items can be see at the gallery, located at 88 Mill Street on the second floor of the Harriston branch of the Wellington County Public Library.
Christmas gallery hours are: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8pm; Wednesdays and Fridays from 2 to 4pm and Saturdays from 11am to 1pm.
