GUELPH/ERAMOSA – The Rural Ontario Institute (ROI) has extended the deadline for applications to its Rural Changemakers program.
The institute is seeking individuals eager to lead change in their community who are interested in learning new techniques for engagement and ways to effectively mobilize change. Changemakers should be between 18 and 29 years old and from rural Ontario.
“The rural Change Makers makers is a life-changing, experiential learning program that will help you reach your goals,” ROI officials state.
Up to 30 young adults will be selected to participate in a series of developmental training sessions and undertake experiential learning opportunities to realize rural development outcomes identified by their communities.
The application deadline has been extended to Nov. 14.
