Finishing her life’s journey October 12, 2021, Brenda Bovaird passed away as a loving, caring lady to all who knew her. Greatly missed by her brothers Bill (2013) and his wife Judy (2014). Brenda was predeceased by her loving parents Dr. William (1999) and Mildred (2005) Bovaird; Brenda shared in her nieces and nephews lives and valued opportunities to be included in their numerous endeavours. Hockey games, skating carnivals, riding lessons, horse shows, baseball games etc… Cherished aunt of Michael and his wife Jeanette Bovaird of Bradenton, Florida, Mark and his wife Sheila Bovaird of Leduc, Alberta, Lisa Bovaird of Stratford, Kim and her husband Trevor Thompson of Orangeville, Adam Bovaird and his partner Costantino D’Elia of Toronto, Lindsay Craig of Fergus, Debra Lynn and her husband Chet Calhoun of Dobbinton, Jeffery McKeown and his wife Amanda of Shelburne, Crystal and her husband Jesse Durdle of Melancthon. Brenda gratefully enjoyed worshipping with her friends for many years at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Arthur and the Orangeville Christian Reformed Church. The Avalon Care Centre was Brenda’s residence for many years, and the family is most appreciative of her care there. The death of a loved one makes us all children again. It quickly eliminates our intellects and reduces us to pause and stop and realize FOR EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON–as it states in Ecclesiastics 3:1-8. Loving great aunt of Megan and Nicholas; Deirdre, Austin, Fallyn; Cole, Paige, Hunter, Eden; Tanner, Taylor, Ty; Sonny, Jules; Karden; Evan, Libby; Lincoln, Ryder. Niece of Betty Reid and many Moddison, Reid and Clark cousins. Cremation has taken place and the funeral service was held Monday October 18. Private family burial was held at the Brampton Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel, & Reception Centre, Orangeville. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Orangeville Christian Reformed Church (Friendship Club) or Dufferin Community Living Orangeville. Brenda lived her best life of nearly 56 years because of the abundance of love she shared. In return Brenda did feel the love of everyone on her journey. Our lives were blessed and made better because of Brenda Bovaird. We now have a goal of honouring Brenda’s spirit as it soars to heaven! We’ll love you forever.
