of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Horton 2006) Brodhagen. Dear father of Brenda and Brian Burrows of Palmerston, Janice and Peter Steenbergen of R.R. #2 Drayton and Julie and Vance Dettman of Clifford. Cherished grandfather of Shannon Burrows and Chris Holden of Mount Forest, Andrew and Kelly Burrows of Wingham; Christine and Michael Drost of Drayton; Tara and Michael Taberer of South Africa, Jocelyn and David Tomek of Clifford; Step grandfather of Karen and John Thorne of St. Jacobs, Donald and Nicole Steenbergen of Floradale, Lisa and Nate Bakelaar of Elmira and Ken and Karen Steenbergen of Drayton. Great grandfather of Connor, Liam, Nolan, Evangeline, Oliver, Jaxson, Judah, Chloe and Dillon. Also survived by his 10 step great grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Lyle Dobney and Earl Scott. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Edith Brodhagen and siblings Fred Brodhagen, Joyce and her husband Jack Bird, Daisy and her husband Dan Johnson and Patsy and her husband Bob Kane, Faye Dobney and Anita Scott. A private family service was held in the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston followed by interment in Palmerston Cemetery.
