After a life long struggle with Cystic Fibrosis, Lindsay passed away with family by her side at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto on August 28, 2021 in her 35th year. Lindsay is survived by her husband Dennis Csepregi; mother Lynda and father David Shaw; mother-in-law Ilona and father-in-law Charles Csepregi; brothers Paul (Dawn), Chris and Adam Shaw; sister Kara Shaw; sister in law Rita Csepregi; nephews Malik Csepregi (Daniela), Owen, Evan and Oliver Shaw; niece Lylie Shaw; great niece Mahlia Csepregi and best friend Marina Kozina. Lindsay grew up in the Arthur area and called it home. She is a graduate of Arthur District High School and the University of Guelph. For the past several years, Lindsay has been living in Toronto with her husband Dennis and their dog Ginger. Lindsay was a singer-song writer and during her lifetime shared her love of music with many by teaching music lessons and performing at various venues. She was an avid participant in many Cystic Fibrosis research studies with the goal of improving the treatment for this genetic disease. Lindsay’s motto was “keep on, keeping on”. She was a beacon of light and an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be missed not only by her husband and immediate family but by a host of friends with whom she shared her love for life. To honour Lindsay’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will take place at a later date and will be announced at that time.
