also known as Derek Underhill of White Rapids New Brunswick, passed away at home surrounded by his family, on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at the age of 65. Born in Ontario, he was the son of Joan (Mathers) Underhill and the late Thomas Ivan Underhill. He worked as a welder for 32 years in Toronto, ON, before returning to New Brunswick. He is survived by his common-law spouse Juanita Curtis of White Rapids; mother Joan Underhill of Blackville; daughters Rhonda Slack, Lori Burrows, Becky Mathers; sons Derek Mathers, Mathew Mathers of Ontario, Daniel Ritchie and stepson Jackson Greely of Blackville New Brunswick; his sister’s Rhonda Underhill Gray, and Tammy Underhill-Burrows of Ontario; and his grandchildren.
