passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the age of 51. Beloved husband of Fern (Bauman) Martin of Elmira. Loved father of Kaitlyn, Quinten, Jenesa and Tamara all at home. Loved son of Abner W and Edna (Horst) Martin of Alma. Brother of Brenda and Luke Freeman of West Montrose, Elroy and Doris Martin, and Rhonda Martin all of Alma. Brother-in-law of Erla and Richard Weber of West Montrose, Agnes and Murray Bauman, Doris and Elmer Frey all of Drayton. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother in infancy, father and mother-in-law William and Elsie Bauman. Visitation was held at Maple View Mennonite Meeting House, 7184 Fourteenth Line, Alma, in the township of Mapleton from 1:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00pm on Saturday, July 31, 2021 and from 1:00 – 6:00pm on Sunday, August 1, 2021. A private family service and burial by invitation, was held at Maple View on Monday, August 2, 2021. A public, outdoor funeral service followed at the residence of Murrel and Leona Martin, 7248 Twelfth Line, Alma, in the township of Mapleton at 10:30am.
