Beloved town councilor Elizabeth Taylor remembered for ‘passion and enthusiasm’

GRAND VALLEY –  Town council and residents of Grand Valley are mourning a tremendous loss to the community after the death of former councillor Elizabeth Taylor on June 1.

“Elizabeth brought her dedication to our town through everything she did,” a press release read, highlighting Taylor’s past dedication to the community through her volunteer work and over a decade of service as a council member.

“Her passion and enthusiasm for making Grand Valley beautiful will be her legacy,” the release read.

Taylor is survived by husband, Wayne Taylor, two  older children, four grandchildren and extended family.

In remembrance of her life and honour of her legacy in the town, the town’s flag will be lowered to half-mast for two weeks.

No memorial services have been planned as of publishing but will be announced at a later date.
