Gas Tax Fund will allow Puslinch to reconstruct part of Concession Road 4

PUSLINCH – The Township of Puslinch will benefit from the federal Gas Tax Fund.

The Township of Puslinch is reconstructing part of Concession Road 4 with support from this fund.

Approximately 2km of Concession Road 4 will be repaved between County Road 32 and Sideroad 10.

The work is scheduled to commence in mid May and be completed by the end of 2021.

The project is budgeted for $450,000, with $220,000 coming from the federal Gas Tax Fund.

“The federal Gas Tax Fund is an important resource for Puslinch,” said Mayor Seeley of the Township of Puslinch. “These infrastructure projects take time and cost a lot of money. We are grateful for the predictable and stable financial support that we get from the Fund.”

The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) administers the Fund to all municipalities in Ontario, except for the City of Toronto. To learn more about the Gas Tax Fund in Ontario visit www.gastaxatwork.ca.
