GUELPH – The 16th annual Farmland Forum hosted by the Ontario Farmland Trust (OFT) is going virtual on March 25.
The Shifting Landscapes of Farmland Protection is the theme for this year’s forum. The virtual event will run from 9am to 1pm, and feature guest speakers and discussion panels.
This year’s first keynote speaker is Kevin Eby, former director of community planning for Waterloo Region. Kevin will be talking about how differing municipal population forecasts will affect municipal urban land needs and agriculture.
