of Arthur passed away peacefully at the Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Sunday, January 31, 2021 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Elwood Rooney (1993). Cherished mother of Mervyn and Brenda Rooney of Arthur, Garnett and Bonnie Rooney of Waterloo and Sandra and Wayne Beirnes of Fergus. Grandmother of Darryl and Amanda Rooney, Brad and Stephanie Rooney, Garrett and Angie Rooney; Dana and Sean Oliver, Andrea and Rod Coombs; Tricia Beirnes, Cheryl and Matt Challice. She will be sadly missed by her 19 great grandchildren. Sister of Louise Morrison. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her siblings and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Geraldine and Findlay Lewis, Laura and Clarence McRobb, Blair and Inez Allen, Willard and Marguerite Allen, Ross Morrison, Fern and Ellis Aitken; Bev and Ida Rooney, Adaleen Dowling, John Rooney, Bert and Wilma Rooney, Loreen and George Bradley. There will be a private family service held in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Arthur.
