9th annual Christmas Joy Home Tour raises funds for Hope House

Each year the Christmas Joy Home Tour draws more than 1,200 visitors to the city and raises thousands of dollars for community projects using the expertise of dozens of local businesses.

Now in its ninth year, the Joy Tour will feature eight carefully selected, homes throughout Guelph and Elora, professionally decorated for the Christmas season.

This is the first year the tour will make its way into the heart of Elora, and the first year participants will be invited to make a special stop at Hope House.

The tour takes place Nov. 14 to 16.

– Exclusive Pre-Tour Event: Nov. 14, 6:30 to 10pm;

– Candlelight Tour: Nov. 15, 4:30 to 9:30pm; and

– Daytime Tour: Nov. 16, 10am to 5pm.

Tickets are $30 for the Candlelight and Daytime tours and $50 for the Pre-Tour (limited tickets available).

Proceeds from the event are used to support various programs at Hope House including the Food Market, Edu-Kitchen, Hope Stylin’, The Running and Reading Club, and the Christmas Hamper Bureau.
