4-H: Practice makes perfect in Erin

The fourth meeting of the Erin Square Dancing 4-H Club was held on Nov. 20.

When all members had arrived, we began to dance.  We “squared our set” which means dancers are to get in the shape of a square.

We polished up some of the common moves that we had been practicing to date. Half way through our meeting club president, Madison, opened the meeting with the 4-H pledge, and the secretary report and press report were read by Nadia and Sarah respectively.

New business was discussed by our club leaders.  Members decided to hold a performance night, on Dec. 4 for our families and friends.

Soon after, we started dancing again and decided which songs and moves we would dance to while on Parade of Lights square-dancing float on Dec. 8 in Rockwood.  We are all excited for this.

The meeting was closed with the 4-H motto.
