The Superstars Baton Club competed in the annual Hamilton competition on March 6.
Approximately 80 athletes from Arthur, Kitchener, Fergus, New Market, Oshawa, Bowmanville, Hamilton, Burlington, and New York attended this competition.
Wining first place were Superstars teams: Jellicle Ball (members include Alyssa George, Lauren Robb and Makenzie Worton), Little Princesses (members include Olivia Cayer, Alyssa Ellis, Jocelyn Hutchison and Millie Schneiders), Lets Get Loud (members include Alexis Herriot, Hayleigh Homer, Skylar Irwin, and Melissa Ireland), Time Warp (members include Jessie Ellis and Robb) and Tutti Frutti (members include Simone Arbour, Brooklynn Bokor, Janelle Burns, Mackenzie Fraser, Morgan Hutchison, Annabelle Hodgson, Paige Johnston, Abby Post, Lainey Saunders, and Sierra Smith).
Placing second were: Little Devils (members include Elsie Post, Homer, Irwin and George), Ice Cream Freeze (members include Alyssa Cunningham, Madisyn Gibbard, Shayla Logel, Chelsea McFadden, Grace Sinclair, Oksanna Zumbach), My Friends (members include Zoe Eaton, Lexi McFadden, Kylee Pringle, Alexandra Pratt and Jadyn Worton), Hot, Hot, Hot (members include Fraser, Johnston, and Logel).
Cute Kitties (members include Destinee Faust, Jamie Green, Diane Mitchell, Jayda Saunders) placed third.
Many of the members competed in individual routines taking home numerous top-three placements.
The Superstars Baton Club twirlers are trained by Krista DiStasi, Robb, Makenzie Worton and Bailey Pinder.
