Gerald and Mary Townsend will be doing an “Old-time Milk Run” through the village of Arthur on July 15. The event has been rescheduled from June 29. The Arthur and District Chamber of Commerce will be assisting with the distribution of chocolate milk for the children.
The route will consist of three stops, starting around 5pm at the Mennonite Christian School parking lot (the old Arthur Public School), then the Arthur Arena parking lot and Arthur Public School parking lot.
“Take a walk down memory lane and show your children and grandchildren how milk and dairy products were once delivered to families,” organizers urge.
The Arthur Fall Fair Ambassador will be in attendance at the event.
