‘Tractors & Tailgates’ around town will shine Labour Day weekend.
A self-guided tour will feature tractors and trucks of all vintage displayed throughout Minto. A map is available on the fair website or at local businesses in Harriston.
The Harriston-Minto Agricltural Society is planning a full schedule of events on fair weekend, Sept. 12 to 14. Friday highlights include R&R Pet Paradise dog demo team, the “Great Pie Auction,” Junior calf show and lawn mower races.
On Saturday, the parade route will start at Spear’s Seeds lot. Also on Saturday and new this year, is Classic Championship Wrestling in the main arena at 4pm, followed by wings and music at 6pm in the auditorium.
Sunday activities at the Demo Derby site will feature the Nascar Simulator. Harriston Home Hardware and the agricultural society will also be giving away two new self-propelled scooters.
