Edgewood Camp ready

EDEN MILLS

Edgewood Camp will be the site of a summer therapeutic camp for the whole family from Aug. 18 to 21.

The camp’s schedule includes a variety of outdoor activities such as nature walks, swimming (including the option of lessons)  canoeing, crafts,  archery, volleyball, and basketball, low ropes course, and evening campfires as well as access to the therapists on staff.

Campers will sleep in cabins with their families and all meals and snacks are provided so it will be a holiday for everyone.  Several therapeutic options will be available. Those include: couples and family therapy, play therapy techniques, psychotherapy and life counselling and expressive arts therapy.

A registered massage therapist will also be present. Her fee will need to be covered separately.

Families may choose to participate together at each therapeutic session or alone. The same goes for all the camp activities. Parents can join with their children as they explore the outdoor possibilities or relax while the kids have fun supervised by experienced counsellors.

At this camp, the option is there to be as busy or as quiet as each person chooses to be.

The fee per participant: $390 plus HST and includes room, food, camp activities, and all therapy options.

Registration forms can be found online at: www.edgewood.camp.on.ca or contact: Heather Nagel at Edgewood Camp and Conference Centre: 519-856-9622 or email: registrar@edgewood-camp.on.ca.
