Puslinch CAO/Clerk-Treasurer to retire

ABERFOYLE

CAO/Clerk-Treasurer Brenda Law, tendered her resignation last week after over 35 years of service, effective January 1, 2013.

Brenda Law was hired in 1977 and has been responsible for administration and finance functions for the township. During her career in Puslinch, she has worked with four reeves/mayors and 13 councils.

“On behalf of Township Council and staff I would like to thank Brenda for 35 years of outstanding municipal service,” said Mayor Dennis Lever.

“Her knowledge, professionalism and experience will be missed at the Township. I wish Brenda all the best in this exciting new chapter.”

“It’s been a privilege to work with council and staff over the past 35 years,” commented Brenda. “Together we have worked hard to make Puslinch a great place to live and do business. It was a difficult decision to leave but I am looking forward to my retirement.”

Law will officially end her career at the Township on December 31, 2012. The township will begin the hiring process for her replacement this fall.
