Eight meetings held in just over one month period

An indication of the number of meetings held in the town recently became readily apparent during a listing of recent council meetings.
As council moved to approve recent minutes, councillor John Brennan read off the list of meetings held recently.
June 6, special fire/council meeting;
June 19, regular council meeting;
June 26, special council meeting;
June 26, regular council/staff working meeting;
July 3, special council meeting;
July 3, public information meeting;
July 3, a second special council meeting;
July 11, special council meeting.
“Aren’t we special,” Brennan quipped regarding the number of special meetings.
