MOUNT FOREST

Mental Health Week is an annual designation recognized all across Canada as an opportunity to talk about, reflect on and celebrate the importance of mental health in people’s lives.

The theme of Mental Health For All represents the right of every Canadian to enjoy the best possible mental health.

It is that attitude that encourages people to actively promote their well-being and find ways to support their mental health at home, at work and in their community.

Learn more by visiting www.mentalhealthweek.ca.

There are also opportunities across Wellington and Dufferin Counties where people can access information about mental health, find ways to cope with the challenges in our daily lives, learn about the impact of mental health problems and find out what resources are available to help.

In Mount Forest, there will be a Brown Bag Lunch and Laugh on May 10 from noon to 1pm at the Mount Forest l0  from noon to 1pm at the library, 118 Main St.

Discover the healing power of laughter and useful tips to strengthen resilience through humour.

It is a free community event; no registration required.
