GUELPH-ERAMOSA - On April 2 at about 2pm, a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 north of Guelph.

Police say the officer observed a white sedan that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was allegedly clocked on radar at about 130km/h in an 80km/h zone.

James B. Rock, 49, of Fergus, was charged with racing a motor vehicle and is to appear in Guelph court on May 16.

GUELPH - On April 2 at about 1pm, a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on the Hanlon Expressway.

Police say the officer observed a white sedan that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was allegedly clocked on radar at about 130km/h in an 80km/h zone.

Taranpreet Rai, 25, of Kitchener, was charged with racing a motor vehicle and is to appear in Guelph court on May 16.

GUELPH - On April 3 at about 8am, a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on the Hanlon Expressway.

Police say the officer observed a black coupe that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was allegedly clocked on radar at about 130km/h in an 80km/h zone.

Christopher Shawn Hurley, 25, of Flamborough, was charged with racing a motor vehicle and is to appear in Guelph court on May 16.

GUELPH - On April 3 at about 9am, a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on the Hanlon Expressway.

Police say the officer observed a white SUV that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was allegedly clocked on radar at about 130km/h in an 80km/h zone.

Teri Beth Horowitz, 28, of Toronto, was charged with racing a motor vehicle and is to appear in Guelph court on May 16.

In the above incidents the driver’s licence and the vehicle were seized for seven days.
