ROCKWOOD - On March 17 at about 8:15am Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a theft of a bike and equipment from a home on Milne Place here.

Police say that on the evening of March 16 the owner attached his bike to his trunk and placed his cycling clothing and two Garmin heart monitors in his back seat and when he awoke in the morning, everything was gone.

The bike is described as a black and white MEC brand Road bike valued at over $2,500.

Also taken were a blue Garmin Cycle Computer, a bag of clothing (red MEC duffel bag) and blue Nike Pegasus running shoes.
